Upgrade Your Ring as Your Love Story Grows

At Waco Diamonds, we understand that life changes and sometimes your dream ring does too. Whether you are celebrating an anniversary, a career milestone, a growing family, or simply want a larger diamond, our Forever Upgrade Program allows eligible customers to upgrade their engagement ring and receive up to 100% credit toward the original qualifying purchase price toward a new ring.

Our goal is simple: buy with confidence today, knowing you have the flexibility to upgrade in the future.

How the Forever Upgrade Program Works

Eligible customers may trade in their original qualifying Waco Diamonds engagement ring and receive up to 100% of the original purchase price as store credit toward a new qualifying ring purchase.

Trade-in credit applies only toward a new qualifying upgrade purchase and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Minimum Upgrade Purchase Requirements

To qualify for the Forever Upgrade Program, your new purchase must meet the following minimum retail value requirements:

Lab-Grown Diamond Rings

Your new ring must have a retail value of at least 1.5× the original qualifying purchase price.

Example:
If your original ring purchase was $4,000, your upgraded ring must be at least $6,000.

Natural Diamond Rings

Your new ring must have a retail value of at least 3× the original qualifying purchase price.

Example:
If your original ring purchase was $4,000, your upgraded ring must be at least $12,000.

Original purchase price refers to the amount paid for the qualifying ring, excluding taxes, shipping charges, financing fees, discounts, promotional credits, coupons, and gift card redemptions.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the Forever Upgrade Program:

  • The ring must have been originally purchased from Waco Diamonds
  • Both the original center diamond and original ring mounting must have been purchased from Waco Diamonds
  • Partial trade-ins are not allowed (center stone only or mounting only is not eligible)
  • The complete original ring must be returned
  • The original IGI or GIA grading certificate must be provided
  • The ring must have been owned for at least 12 months from original purchase date
  • The ring must remain in compliance with the Waco Diamonds Lifetime Warranty
  • The ring must pass inspection by Waco Diamonds

Lifetime Warranty Compliance Requirement

To receive the full 100% trade-in credit, the ring must remain in compliance with the Waco Diamonds Lifetime Warranty.

This includes:

  • Required inspections at least once every 6 months
  • No unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • No structural damage or excessive wear
  • No chipped, cracked, or damaged diamonds

Rings that are not fully warranty compliant may still qualify for trade-in, but may receive reduced credit.

Upgrade Processing Fee

A $200 Upgrade Processing Fee applies to each trade-up request.

This fee includes:

  • Professional ring inspection
  • Cleaning and refurbishment evaluation
  • Trade-in valuation
  • CAD design and upgrade consultation
  • Custom design planning for your new ring

If Your Ring Does Not Pass Inspection

If your ring does not qualify for full trade-in credit, Waco Diamonds may still offer partial trade-in credit based on condition.

Examples that may reduce trade-in credit include:

  • Missed warranty inspections
  • Worn or damaged prongs
  • Bent or misshapen ring shank
  • Missing or damaged accent stones
  • Missing original certificate
  • Unauthorized repairs or alterations

Trade-in credit adjustments are determined solely by Waco Diamonds after inspection.

Outside appraisals, third-party valuations, or competitor evaluations cannot be used to determine trade-in value.

Program Limitations

The Forever Upgrade Program:

  • Cannot be redeemed for cash
  • Cannot be transferred to another owner
  • Cannot be combined with certain promotions or discounts
  • Is limited to one trade-up per original ring ownership

Each qualifying ring may be upgraded one time only under this program.

Final Approval

Waco Diamonds reserves the sole right to determine program eligibility, ring condition, trade-in value, credit amount, and final upgrade approval.

Program terms may be modified or discontinued at any time without prior notice, though approved upgrades already in process will be honored under the terms in effect at approval.
